The CalAsian Chamber Annual International Trade Mission

California Asian Chamber of Commerce’s (CalAsian Chamber) annual international trade mission is heading to Hong Kong from August 14th to the 20th 2018.

CalAsian Chamber administers export assistance program under cooperative agreement with the International Trade Administration’s (ITA) Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) of the US Department of Commerce (USDOC). Operating in the largest exporting state in the U.S. and a leading global trade hub, our export assistance program is geared towards facilitating the long-term growth of California’s processed food, beverage and catering industry exports to Asia. Please join us in a once in a lifetime opportunity to present your products in a premier Food and Beverage trade show in Hong Kong this August.

Hong Kong Food Expo:

The Hong Kong Food expo presents exciting opportunity for American businesses in the food and beverage industry to meet face-to-face with thousands of qualified buyers from all over Asia. In 2018, our annual international trade mission is looking forward to taking a trade delegation of 10 -15 U.S. SMEs to exhibit at the Hong Kong Food Show.

Why Hong Kong?

Hong Kong is the second largest export market for California Food & Agriculture, totaling over $3.5 billion. Because Hong Kong is one of the leading trading hubs in Asia, the Hong Kong Food Expo attracts buyers from all over Asia and South-East Asia, the fastest growing and largest regional market for California consumer goods and food products. In addition, Hong Kong’s sophisticated transportation infrastructure system provides perfect opportunity for U.S. businesses to connect with other Asian markets.

Our attendees have the option to exhibit in person or exhibit their catalogs and samples. Please see attached for our official flyers. I would greatly appreciate it if you can share within your network that might be interested in this opportunity.
