On Monday, August 19, 2021, we collaborated with California Association of Food Banks to pack 500 boxes to feed several families in the Bakersfield, CA area. Our boxes were comprised of eggplants, jicama, white peaches, and nectarines, all of which were provided by our local Fresno farmers.
We’d like to thank Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM) for allowing us to use their venue. We’d also like to thank our wonderful volunteers who took time out of their busy schedule to join us.
We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our wonderful staff member, Keng Vang, who coordinated the entire event. What a wonderful job!
