On Thursday, February 23, 2023, our team was hard at work, packaging 600 produce boxes, free of charge, for residents within the City of Fresno. These boxes were filled with fresh and locally grown produce such as daikon, navel oranges, cilantro, green onions, rapini, napa cabbage, and lemongrass. What’s also amazing about this is that all produce was sourced from BIPOC farmers! We want to thank Lao Evangelic Church for allowing us to use their venue; our volunteers for assisting us with packaging produce into boxes; and our partner organizations for helping us with distributing produce boxes. We will be having these events two times a month! Our next one is scheduled for Thursday, March 9, 2023.
