ABIRC awarded a grant from the California Department of Food and Agriculture for farmers growing Asian specialty crops.

The Asian Business Institute and Resource Center (ABIRC) is pleased to share that it has been awarded a three-year grant, in the amount of $381,166.00, from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program.

Right before the Thanksgiving holiday, the Asian Business Institute and Resource Center (ABIRC) collaborated with Lao Veterans of America, Inc.; Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal, and the City of Fresno to host a Crop Buyback event for the community of Fresno.
